What Is I’M MORE? The Movement, Meaning and Mission
I’M MORE is a human transformation movement created to help people recognise that their current circumstances do not define the limit of their future.
The words I’M MORE are a declaration. They express the moment a person begins to recognise that they are more than a rejection, more than an employment status, more than a qualification, more than a diagnosis, more than a difficult past and more than somebody else’s expectations.
I’M MORE does not mean that one person is more important than another. It means that every person possesses greater potential, capability and possibility than may currently be visible to them or to the world around them.
The movement helps people discover what they can offer, build belief in their ability and begin turning hidden potential into visible action.
That journey is expressed through three words:
WHAT DOES I’M MORE MEAN?
I’M MORE means that a person cannot be fully understood through one moment, one setback or one label.
A young person who has not yet secured a job is more than unemployed. A graduate who has completed university but cannot find their first professional opportunity is more than an unsuccessful application. An adult who has lost confidence, experienced adversity or become trapped in an unfulfilling situation is more than the place in which they currently find themselves.
People are often defined by what has happened to them, what they have not yet achieved or what another person assumes they cannot do.
I’M MORE challenges that definition.
The name encourages people to ask deeper questions. What abilities have not yet been recognised? What confidence has been lost? What experience has not been properly understood? What opportunity has not yet appeared? What could become possible if the individual received the right environment, guidance, training, visibility and support?
Saying “I’M MORE” is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning of taking responsibility for discovering what more could mean.
WHY WAS I’M MORE CREATED?
I’M MORE was created because too many people possess capability before they possess confidence, language, visibility or opportunity.
Some people know that they are capable of more but do not know how to move forward. Others have experienced repeated rejection for so long that they have stopped recognising their own strengths. Many have qualifications, practical abilities, creative talent or valuable life experience but struggle to explain what they can offer.
The movement was also created in response to a growing gap between people and opportunity.
Young people may leave school, college or university without understanding how to present themselves to an employer. They can submit application after application without receiving meaningful feedback. Their CV may list dates and qualifications without communicating their personality, attitude, resilience, communication or potential. Read more on this in our data resource: Young People and Work in the UK.
Employers can face a different challenge. Many businesses want to give younger or less experienced people an opportunity, but they are concerned about workplace readiness, confidence, communication, supervision and the time required to help somebody develop.
I’M MORE exists to help build a bridge between those two realities.
The movement helps people become better prepared to be seen, while helping employers, sponsors and partners recognise the potential that can exist behind limited experience.
WHO IS I’M MORE FOR?
I’M MORE is for people who believe that another future may still be possible, even when they cannot yet see the complete route towards it.
The movement currently has two principal pathways.
The First Pathway
It supports young people aged 16–24 who are trying to find their place, secure their first meaningful opportunity or move into employment, education, training, an apprenticeship or enterprise. This includes school leavers, college leavers, apprenticeship seekers, university graduates and young adults who may have become disconnected from work or education. For tailored region support, view Jobs and employment support for 18–24-year-olds in Essex.
The Second Pathway
It supports adults aged 21 and above who are ready to reset, rebuild, change direction or finally pursue something that matters to them. This includes people in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties and beyond. Some may want to change careers. Others may need to rebuild after adversity, develop confidence, start a business, improve their visibility or begin a chapter they previously believed had passed them by.
I’M MORE is built on a simple principle: Transformation is not restricted by age.
A person can discover new capability, rebuild belief and become something different at many stages of life.
DISCOVER. BELIEVE. BECOME.
The I’M MORE approach is structured around three transformational stages: Discover, Believe and Become. These are not simply words used as a slogan. They describe the movement from hidden potential towards visible action.
DISCOVER
Discovery begins by helping a person understand where they are now and what may be possible next. People explore their identity, strengths, values, experiences, interests, confidence and direction. They begin recognising abilities that may have been overlooked, dismissed or never properly expressed.
Discovery can reveal that valuable capability already exists inside practical experience, caring responsibilities, education, creativity, digital knowledge, communication, problem-solving, resilience, entrepreneurship and everyday life. A person cannot communicate their value clearly until they begin to recognise it for themselves.
BELIEVE
Belief grows when a person begins to see evidence of what they can do. I’M MORE does not treat belief as empty motivation or positive thinking without substance. Genuine confidence develops through understanding, preparation, practice, encouragement, improved ability and achievable progress.
People explore how rejection, comparison, adversity and other people’s opinions may have shaped what they believe about themselves. They begin developing stronger language for explaining who they are, what they have learned, what they can offer and what they are prepared to develop. Belief becomes more powerful when it is supported by evidence and action.
BECOME
Becoming is the point at which potential starts to move. A person may improve their communication, develop a stronger CV, record a Video CV, learn a practical skill, attend an event, enter training, apply for an apprenticeship, meet an employer, start a business or take another meaningful step.
Transformation rarely happens in one perfect movement. It develops through action, review, learning, adjustment and continued momentum. I’M MORE helps people move from thinking about possibility towards doing something that begins to make that possibility real.
THE I’M MORE EVENT
The I’M MORE event is the gateway into the movement.
The Discover. Believe. Become. experience is designed to help participants understand themselves more clearly, recognise what they can offer and begin creating a practical route forward.
For young adults, the event may focus on employment, apprenticeships, education, training, confidence, communication, CV development, Video CVs and becoming more visible to employers.
For adults, it may focus on rebuilding, changing direction, personal identity, capability, work, enterprise and creating a future that feels more meaningful.
An I’M MORE event is not a conventional careers fair or a motivational seminar in which people are simply spoken at. It is a guided transformational experience led by Bradley Chapman. Participants are encouraged to think, speak, reflect, communicate, practise and begin turning personal insight into action.
The aim is not to tell everybody that they must follow the same path. The aim is to help each person identify the path that may be right for them.
THE ROOM
The Event is the gateway. The Room is the continuing journey.
The Room is being developed as a practical learning and development environment where people can explore different industries, skills and areas of interest. Many individuals do not know what type of career or opportunity would suit them because they have had limited exposure to the range of work that exists.
A person may never have experienced artificial intelligence, coding, web development, construction, landscaping, social media, content creation, administration, sales, film, entrepreneurship or another specialist area. It is difficult to choose confidently from a world that has never been placed within reach.
The Room is intended to create themed days and specialist sessions where people can encounter different possibilities, learn from practitioners, test their interests and begin identifying areas in which they could develop.
One session may focus on artificial intelligence, technology and coding. Another may explore construction, landscaping or skilled trades. Other sessions may introduce website development, creative media, social media, administration, PA skills, sales, customer service, business or entrepreneurship.
The purpose is not to force somebody into a predetermined career. It is to help them discover where interest, ability and opportunity may begin to connect. The Room will grow through the involvement of sponsors, employers, specialists and community partners.
BE SEEN
Potential can remain hidden when nobody has an opportunity to see it.
A conventional CV is important, but it may communicate only a limited part of a person. It can show qualifications, dates and employment history without revealing attitude, personality, communication, creativity or willingness to develop. Learn more about making an impact in our guide: How to get a job with no experience.
I’M MORE helps people build stronger personal profiles and explore ways of becoming more visible beyond the traditional written application. This can include CV development, Video CV modules, digital profiles, portfolios, communication practice, presentations, events and introductions.
The purpose of visibility is not to create fame. It is to help the right person, employer or organisation see enough of somebody’s capability to consider providing an opportunity.
THE STAGE
The Stage is where people begin communicating who they are, what they have learned and what they can offer.
For some participants, standing up and speaking may initially feel uncomfortable. They may have spent years believing that their voice, experience or ideas were not important.
The Stage provides opportunities to practise communication, develop confidence, share progress and become more comfortable being seen and heard. It also creates a potential bridge to employers, sponsors, partners and other people who may be able to recognise and support developing capability.
The Stage is not about producing a perfect performance. It is about helping somebody move from remaining hidden towards becoming able to express themselves with greater clarity and confidence.
I’M MORE ON TOUR
I’M MORE is beginning in Chelmsford, but the challenge it addresses is not limited to one town or county.
I’M MORE On Tour is the movement’s developing outreach programme. Its purpose is to take the message, events and opportunities into colleges, community centres, town centres, employment settings and other locations where people can be reached.
The long-term ambition is to create a model that can grow beyond Essex through partnerships, employers, local organisations, digital delivery and future I’M MORE locations.
Chelmsford is the starting point. It is not the limit of the vision.
A MOVEMENT FOR PEOPLE AND EMPLOYERS
Human transformation cannot be created by focusing only on the individual. Employers, sponsors, education providers, government services, community organisations, mentors and families all have a role in helping people move forward.
Businesses can provide employment, apprenticeships, work experience, mentoring, specialist knowledge and access to industries that participants may never previously have encountered.
Sponsors can help fund events, equipment, training, desks, technology and practical learning environments. Sponsor a Desk options are open for corporate partners.
Specialists can give time, expertise and insight.
Community and employment organisations can help connect people with the support and opportunities most relevant to their circumstances.
I’M MORE does not exist to replace the work of employers, colleges, universities, the Department for Work and Pensions, Jobcentre Plus, training organisations or local authorities. It exists to help connect people, support and opportunity more effectively.
FOUNDED BY BRADLEY CHAPMAN
I’M MORE was founded by Bradley Chapman, a business consultant, entrepreneur, coach and mentor with more than 35 years of experience working with people, businesses and organisations. Bradley has trained, coached and mentored more than 20,000 people during his career. His experience spans business growth, strategy, branding, communication, leadership, sales, personal development and human transformation.
He has worked with startups, established companies, entrepreneurs, senior executives, business owners, media organisations and high-profile individuals. His career has included work with businesses, organisations and people connected with David Gold, Jacqueline Gold, the BBC, Sky, Dragons’ Den, the Spice Girls and George Michael. He has also created documentary productions distributed through Amazon.
Across the organisations and individuals he has advised, Bradley estimates that his work has contributed to approximately £6 billion in combined sales, company valuations and business exits.
However, I’M MORE was not created only from commercial success. The movement was also shaped by adversity, rebuilding and Bradley’s understanding that a person can possess capability long before they possess confidence, recognition or opportunity.
His experience allows him to understand both sides of the bridge: what businesses need from people and what people may need before they are ready to become visible to businesses. That combination of business understanding and human experience sits behind I’M MORE.

A LEGALLY SEPARATE COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY
I’M MORE CIC is a legally separate Community Interest Company created to pursue its own community purpose.
Important Deployment Note: I’M MORE must not be described as being part of Ninja Business Group.
Bradley Chapman Business Consultancy, Ninja Coach and I’M MORE are connected through Bradley Chapman and a shared commitment to growth, capability and opportunity. They remain separate organisations and websites with their own purposes. The commercial experience developed through Bradley Chapman’s wider career helps inform the I’M MORE mission, but I’M MORE exists as its own community-focused organisation.
WHAT MAKES I’M MORE DIFFERENT?
I’M MORE does not begin by asking only what somebody lacks. It begins by asking what is already present, what has become hidden and what could be developed.
The movement does not define a person by unemployment, low confidence, age, qualifications, neurodivergence, health, adversity or previous rejection. It recognises that those factors may affect the support somebody needs, but they do not describe the full extent of what that person could become.
I’M MORE also understands that personal belief alone is not enough. A person may need practical skills, stronger communication, evidence, preparation, visibility, employer connections and a realistic next-step plan. The approach therefore connects human transformation with practical action. It begins internally, but it must eventually become visible externally.
WHY THE WORDS I’M MORE MATTER
The words I’M MORE are deliberately simple. They can be understood by a young person searching for their first job, an adult rebuilding after adversity, an entrepreneur beginning again or somebody who has spent years feeling overlooked.
The meaning will be personal to every participant:
For one person, I’M MORE may mean, “I am more than unemployment.”
For another, it may mean, “I am more than my past.”
For somebody else, it may mean, “I am more than the limitations I have accepted.”
The words create a space after them:
I’M MORE capable.
I’M MORE employable.
I’M MORE confident.
I’M MORE creative.
I’M MORE resilient.
I’M MORE prepared.
I’M MORE visible.
I’M MORE than I believed I could be.
The movement does not decide the final word for the individual. It helps the individual discover it.
BEGINNING IN CHELMSFORD
I’M MORE is based in Chelmsford, Essex. The first events, partnerships and development programmes are being built from the I’M MORE Movement HQ in Chelmsford.
From this base, the movement aims to connect people with employers, specialists, sponsors, skills and practical opportunities across Essex. The vision extends further. As the model grows, I’M MORE intends to develop partnerships and routes that can reach people in other communities across the United Kingdom. The national ambition will be built from genuine local delivery, real human outcomes and evidence of transformation.
THE I’M MORE MISSION
The I’M MORE mission is to help people recognise what may still be possible before their circumstances, history or the expectations of the world define their limitations.
That means helping people discover strengths they may not recognise, build belief that is supported by evidence and become more visible through action. It also means bringing together employers, sponsors, specialists and communities to create more meaningful routes into work, skills, enterprise and opportunity.
I’M MORE is more than an employment initiative. It is more than an event. It is more than personal development. It is a movement built around the belief that human capability can be discovered, developed and activated.
YOUR CURRENT POSITION IS NOT YOUR FINAL DEFINITION
You may be searching for a job. You may be trying to change direction. You may have completed education but feel uncertain about what happens next. You may be employed but know that the work you are doing is not where you want your future to remain. You may be rebuilding after something that changed your confidence, identity or belief.
Wherever you are beginning, your current position is not your final definition.
You may need support. You may need training. You may need a new environment, better language, greater visibility or the opportunity to experience something you have never tried before. You will still need to take responsibility for your actions, standards and future.
But you do not need to take every step alone. This is the meaning of I’M MORE.
TAKE YOUR NEXT STEP WITH I’M MORE
I’M MORE begins with the understanding that change happens when possibility becomes action.
